The University of San Marino it was established with the law n.127 of 31 October 1985 by the captains regent Ubaldo Biordi and Pier Paolo Gasperoni.
It was started with the foundation of the Higher School of Historical Studies in 1988. The University of the Republic of San Marino offers training courses in the sectors of Design,engineering, Communication Sciences, economic and legal sciences,biomedical and healthcare area and historical studies, developed mainly in the context of advanced training and research.
