Ideas competition for the drafting of entrepreneurial ideas formalized in business plans
Art. 1 – Definition and objectives of the initiative
The University of the Republic of San Marino announces a competition for entrepreneurial ideas formalized in a business plan, with the aim of promoting the development of local entrepreneurship and the culture of innovation through a mechanism aimed at encouraging the birth of new businesses in the territories of the Republic of San Marino, generating a virtuous circuit between young people, institutions and businesses.
The initiative also has the objective of selecting the most deserving entrepreneurial project to participate in the POPRI Youth Project 2025, an international competition relating to the EUSAIR circuit - Macro-Regional Strategy of the European Union for the Adriatic-Ionian region - which connects the world of youth with entrepreneurial opportunities.
The Competition is organized in collaboration with San Marino Innovation SpA. The initiative benefits from the financial contribution of San Marino Innovation SpA, the Secretariat of State for Foreign Affairs, the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture and the Secretariat for Industry, Crafts and Commerce.
Competition theme
Participants are required to formulate and present a business plan, which provides a detailed and organized vision of the entrepreneurial project.
The business idea can concern any sector, product or service, without limits of originality. Its practical implementation will be positively evaluated. The Competition is open to business ideas of any sector, with particular attention to following themes, as well as pillars of EUSAIR: Blue Growth, Connecting the Region, Environmental Quality and Sustainable Tourism.
Art. 2 – Admission criteria
Participation in the Competition is reserved for citizens of San Marino and students regularly enrolled at the University of the Republic of San Marino, aged between 18 and 29 (not completed on 2 May 2025). The candidate can participate individually or in a team (from two to a maximum of four members). In the case of participation in a team, a representative must be identified to act as group leader. The presentation of documents must be written in Italian or English.

Registration for the Competition must be completed by 24:00 on 9 February 2025 using exclusively the online procedure accessible at the following link:

The Jury (Art. 5) will not process incomplete applications or applications submitted in ways other than those described in this article.
