HAVING REGARD to Delegated Decree no. 30 of 2023 November 169 "Institutional and organizational structure of the University of the Republic of San Marino";
HAVING REGARD to the Statute of the University of the Republic of San Marino;
HAVING REGARD to the Code of Ethics of the University of the Republic of San Marino;
GIVEN the Three-Year Strategic Plan 2021-2023 of the University of the Republic of San Marino, approved with Resolution of the Great and General Council n.23 of 28-04-2021;
HAVING REGARD to the Resolutions of the Academic Senate in session no. 8 of 13 December 2023 and of the University Council in session no. 11 of 14 December, with which it is agreed on the need to proceed with the stipulation of renewable five-year contracts for Associate Professors in accordance with the provisions to the art. 19 as well as in the art. 22, paragraph 2, second period, of Delegated Decree 30 November 2023 n.169;
GIVEN the request of the Department of Human Sciences dated 13/12/2023;
GIVEN the Resolutions of the Academic Senate in the session n.08/2023 of 13/12/2023 and of the University Council in the session n.11/2023 of 14/12/2023 with which the proposal of the Department of Human Sciences and the draft of the relevant evaluation procedure was approved;
DECREES
Art.1 Call for internal evaluation procedure
The evaluation procedure is announced for the call, through the stipulation of a five-year contract, of a second level university professor (in analogy to the provisions of art. 24, paragraph 6, of Italian Law 30 December 2010, n.240), at the Department, competition sector and sector scientific-disciplinary as specified below:

| Specific functions that the professor is called upon to perform | Type of teaching commitment: to carry out teaching functions, supplementary teaching within the L-ART/06 courses within the three-year degree course provided by the DSU and complementary activities in accordance with the University Teaching Regulations. These courses may also be delivered in English. Type of scientific commitment: Scientific functions in line with the research lines of the LART/06 disciplinary scientific sector developed within the DSU Department. |
| Rights and duties | As required by the current legal provisions regarding the legal status of university teaching staff and the current Code of Ethics of the University of the Republic of San Marino. |
| Economic treatment | The proposed economic treatment is equal to €40.000,00 gross per year |
| Maximum number of publications to submit | 20 (twenty). Failure to comply with the aforementioned limit entails the evaluation by the commission of only the first twenty publications indicated in the list. |
Art.2 – Requirements for admission to the evaluation
The following are admitted to participate, pursuant to art. 22 of Delegated Decree 30 November 2023 n. 169, in the evaluation procedure referred to in art. 1:
- The personnel in service at the University of the Republic of San Marino and in possession of the scientific qualification for the second band, currently valid (obtained pursuant to art. 16 of Italian law 240/2010), for the competition sector 10/C1 subject of this procedure, or in possession of an equivalent qualification obtained in another country.
The aforementioned requirements must be met on the deadline for submitting applications for participation.
Those who, at the time of applying for the post referred to in this notice, have a degree of kinship or affinity, within the fourth degree inclusive, with a professor belonging to the Department that requested the call cannot participate in the call procedure. or with the Rector, the Director General or a member of the University Council.
Candidates are admitted to the evaluation procedure with reservation. The Rector may, with a reasoned provision, up to the moment of the call resolution, order exclusion from the same for lack of the required admission requirements. The University guarantees equal opportunities between men and women for access to work and treatment at work.
Art.3- Application for participation, terms and methods of presentation
To participate in the evaluation procedure, the candidate must produce, under penalty of exclusion, no later than the deadline 15 days starting from the day following the date of publication of the notice of this announcement on the website of the University of the Republic of San Marino, in the "UNIVERSITY - NOTICES, COMPETITIONS AND SELECTIONS" section, specific application, written on plain paper headed to the Magnifico Rector of the University of the Republic of San Marino.
The application for admission, duly formulated and signed, under penalty of exclusion, may be:
- sent by certified mail: via PEC (to the address unirsm@pec.cloud) or via tNotice (at the address re@unirsm.sm);
- presented directly in a sealed envelope, from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00, at the Rectorate of the University of the Republic of San Marino, Contrada Omerelli, 77, 47890 City - Republic of San Marino. The candidate must clearly indicate their name and surname on the envelope and indicate the selection they intend to participate in;
- sent by courier or registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, under penalty of exclusion, to the Magnificent Rector of the University of the Republic of San Marino, at the Rectorate, Contrada Omerelli, 77, 47890 City - Republic of San Marino. On the envelope the candidate must clearly indicate his name and surname and indicate the selection in which he intends to participate.
Applications are considered to have been submitted in good time only if they are received within the deadline; for this purpose, the date of hiring will be considered as the protocol of the same. The candidate's application must contain the information necessary to unambiguously identify the procedure in which he intends to participate, the Department, the competition sector and the scientific-disciplinary sector.
In the case of paper transmission, it will be the candidate's responsibility to expressly indicate on the envelope containing the application and its attachments, delivered or sent to this Administration, the following data:
- surname, first name and address;
- selection in which it intends to participate;
- the words "APPLICATION FROM THE CANDIDATE TO Doctor"
