The winner of the scholarship turned out to be Luca Biordi.

The University of San Marino announces a call for applications for the award of 1 scholarship for the support of the staff of the Information Services Office in the development and management of university information services.

ACTIVITIES

On the basis of the directives issued by the University governance and under the supervision of the Office in charge, the Fellow will have the task of acquiring the necessary skills to carry out data processing, management and administration of data networks and technical activities connected with the information and communication functions of the University.

The activity carried out following the use of a scholarship does not constitute any type of employment relationship (full-time or part-time) or self-employment.

DURATION AND AMOUNT:

The scholarship has a duration of 12 months, for a total amount of €15.000 and is possibly renewable upon expiry.

The activity covered by the grant is only interrupted during periods of absence due to duly proven maternity leave or prolonged illness. During these periods, the disbursement of the scholarship is suspended. Scholarship holders are in any case required to notify the structure of the occurrence of the aforementioned conditions as soon as they are ascertained. The activity continues for the remaining period, starting again from the date of termination of the cause of suspension.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The scholarship is intended for individuals who meet the following requirements:

– citizenship of San Marino or residence in the territory of San Marino or citizenship of a country with respect to which agreements exist which provide for the condition of reciprocity in similar cases and in the presence of the requisites envisaged by the aforementioned agreements;
– specialist or three-year degree or degree with the old system in: Information engineering (Classe L-08), Computer science and technology (Classe L-31), Mathematical sciences (Classe L-35); alternatively at least 5 years of proven professional experience in a role similar to that provided for in this notice;
– enjoyment of civil and political rights;
– absence of criminal convictions and pending charges;
– knowledge of the English language;
– knowledge of desktop and server architectures and operating systems;
– knowledge of issues related to security and management of services underlying the operation of a network infrastructure;
– general knowledge of data network technologies with particular reference to the ISO/OSI model and the TCP/IP protocol;
– not be permanently busy.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

To participate in this announcement, the candidate must submit an express application, drawn up on unstamped paper and signed in the original, containing: name and surname of the candidate, place and date of birth, residence and possible domicile for the delivery of communications relating to the announcement, address of e-mail.

The candidate must also declare that he has read and accepted all the conditions set out in this announcement.

The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

a) certificate of citizenship or residence of San Marino or other European or non-European citizenship;
b) general criminal record;
c) certificate of pending charges;
d) certificate of enjoyment of civil and political rights;
e) certificate attesting the achievement of the degree;
f) curriculum vitae as per the Europass model;
g) any additional qualifications, publications and certificates;
h) any additional documents that may constitute an element of evaluation for the activities that the scholarship holder will carry out.

The certificates referred to in letters a), b), c) and d) can be replaced with a specific self-declaration, pursuant to art. 12 of the law of 5 October 2011 n. 159.

Applications must be sent in a sealed envelope by registered mail or hand delivered to the Information Services Office, Contrada Omerelli, n.20, 47890 San Marino, no later than 12 noon on Friday 28 October 2016.

The name of the sender must be specified on the envelope, along with the indication "application for admission, call for scholarship selection for development and management of university information services".

TESTS AND EVALUATION

The Commission, appointed with a Rector's Resolution, after verifying the admission requirements, will evaluate the candidate's qualifications and interview.

The interview is aimed at ascertaining the general knowledge and specific skills required.

General skills:

• autonomy in carrying out work;
• interpersonal skills;

specific skills:

through specific questions, tests and practical tests, the following will be evaluated:

• knowledge of desktop and server operating system architectures;
• knowledge of issues related to security and management of services underlying the operation of a network infrastructure;
• general knowledge of data network technologies with particular reference to the ISO/OSI model and the TCP/IP protocol;

language skills:

• knowledge of the English language;

At the conclusion of the interviews, the Commission, based on the outcome of the interviews and the evaluation of the qualifications, draws up the final merit ranking of the suitable candidates, attributing the following scores:

Titles:

• degree: up to 20 points out of 100;
• additional academic and study qualifications and certifications obtained: up to 20 points out of 100;
• curriculum vitae: up to 20 points out of 100.

Interview:

• general knowledge: up to 10 points out of 100;
• specific skills: up to 20 points out of 100;
• language skills up to 10 points out of 100;

The ranking will be displayed at the University headquarters.

ACCEPTANCE

The Candidate who is first in the ranking must communicate acceptance of the scholarship no later than 2 working days from the publication of the ranking with a registered letter sent to the University Rector, or with the direct presentation of the same.

WAIVER AND FORCAPE

In the event of renunciation by the grantee or forfeiture due to non-acceptance of the scholarship, the ranking will be scrolled.

The granting of the scholarship will be forfeited by non-compliance with the indications of the relevant offices or bodies of the university or behavior by the scholarship holder that is incompatible with the normal performance of the activity covered by the scholarship.
