Pursuant to art. 20 of the Law of 25 April 2014, n. 67, having seen the Statute of the University of San Marino, having seen the resolution of the DESD Department Council n.9 of the report n. 2/2023, given the authorization of the University Council of 16 March 2023, a call for applications for a scholarship is announced at the Department of Economics, Sciences and Law of the University – Degree and Master's Degree Courses in Design intended for visual communication activities and editorial graphics.

Activity
The successful candidate will carry out the following activities:

  • communication and promotion of the training activities of the three-year and master's degree programs in Design;
  • communication of events and promotional activities of the three-year and master's degree programs in Design;
  • updating of the site contents of the bachelor's and master's degree programs in Design;
  • management of the social channels of the three-year and master's degree programs in Design;
  • design and creation of support material for the communication of the three-year and master's degree programs in Design.

Duration and amount
12 months, from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024possibly renewable for a further 12 months; the activity of the scholarship holder will follow the working hours agreed with the Directors of the Degree Courses in Design, for a total of 1500 hours per year, to be signed in the appropriate register.

The amount of the scholarship amounts to €1.250,00= (one thousand two hundred and fifty/00) gross/monthly, for a total amount of €15.000,00 per year and will be paid by the University of San Marino.
The scholarship does not give rise to social security benefits or assessments for careers in the Public Administration.

Admission requirements

  • citizenship or residence of San Marino or other European or non-European citizenship;
  • enjoyment of civil and political rights;
  • absence of criminal convictions and pending charges;
  • master's degree, degree with the old system or degree primarily in Design (LM-12; L-04) or in similar classes;
  • knowledge of the English language;
  • knowledge and professional experience in the sector and in the activities covered by the tender;
  • age not exceeding 35 years on the date of issue of the notice;
  • not be permanently busy.

Presentation of questions:
Applications (attachment 1) must be written on unstamped paper and accompanied by certificates attesting the admission requirements.
The certificates must be issued by the respective university offices and institutions with a date no earlier than 3 months from the date of submission of the application.

The application can be delivered no later than 12.00 hours of the day 20 April 2023 directly to the Department of Economics, Science and Law, at the WTC (Third Floor, Tower B) - via Consiglio dei Sessanta, 99 - Customs - Rep. San Marino, or it may be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt or by courier. The date on which she was officially hired at the Department of Economics, Science and Law will be considered.

In the application, candidates must indicate: surname and name, date and place of birth, personal identification code (ISS code or tax code), residence and, if any, domicile for the delivery of communications relating to the announcement, as well as the e-mail address.
On the envelope candidates must indicate Name and Surname - Call for applications for visual communication and editorial graphics (CdL Design).

The application must be accompanied by the following documents: a) copy of identity document;

b) general criminal certificate;
c) certificate of pending charges;
d) certificate of enjoyment of civil and political rights;
e) certificate attesting the achievement of the qualification required as a requirement;
f) curriculum of scientific, didactic and professional activity;
g) portfolio
h) any additional qualifications, publications and certificates and documents that may constitute an element of evaluation for the activities that the candidate will carry out.

The certificates referred to in letters b), c) and d), in the case of citizens or residents of San Marino, can be replaced with a specific declaration signed by the interested party, pursuant to art. 12 of the law of 5 October 2011 n. 159.

The requisites required by this announcement must be possessed by the interested parties on the expiry date of the same.
Applications that are not signed, those without personal data and those sent after the peremptory deadline will not be taken into consideration.
The university administration does not assume any responsibility for the case of unavailability of the recipient and for the loss of communications due to incorrect indication of the address by the candidate or failure or late communication of the change of address indicated in the application.

Furthermore, the University Administration assumes no responsibility for any failure or late delivery of communications relating to the competition for reasons not attributable to the Administration itself but to postal or telegraphic errors, to third parties, unforeseeable circumstances, force majeure .
The Administration reserves the right to carry out appropriate checks on the truthfulness of the content of the information provided.

Trials and Evaluation
Candidates will be subjected to an oral selection test aimed at ascertaining possession of the required technical knowledge. In case of equal evaluation, holders of San Marino citizenship or residence will be given preference.
The selection will take place according to the following criteria:

  • Motivation
  • Educational qualification
  • CV (personal and work resume)
  • Examinations
  • Other Titles/Language
  • Portfolio

The selection test is scheduled for the day Wednesday 26 April 2023 h. 11.00 at the University, Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara (Contrada Omerelli, 20 – San Marino). The Examining Commission will compile the final ranking on the basis of the documentation submitted and the results of the oral exams. Candidates must confirm their participation in the selection test by sending an email to: pcenci@unirsm.sm by 12.00 on Monday 20 April 2023.

If deemed necessary, the interview will be accompanied by a practical test in order to ascertain the specific skills required. The test will be carried out on the same day as the interviews.
The ranking will be displayed at the Department of Economics, Science and Law and published on the website of the University of San Marino (www.unirsm.sm).
The Examining Commission will be appointed by Rectoral Decree. The Commission's judgment is final.

Social security and economic insurance treatment
The University provides insurance coverage for accidents and civil liability towards third parties for events that occurred and occurred in the performance of the activity. No social security treatment is envisaged for the contracts referred to in this announcement.
In accordance with art. 15 of Law no. 31 of 2013 October 153, which amended art. 33 of Law no. 27 of 2013 June 71, the payment will be credited exclusively by bank transfer with a bank operating in the Republic of San Marino as the beneficiary bank.

Personal data treatment
Each of the Parties will be required to comply with their obligations deriving from EU Regulation 679/2016 and from Law 21 of 2018 December 171 (jointly "current regulations on the protection of personal data"), to the extent that the same are applicable to the supply of services of this deed.

The information on the processing of personal data carried out by the University of the Republic of San Marino, in its capacity as Data Controller, is freely available and can be downloaded from the appropriate "Privacy" section of the institutional website.
The University of the Republic of San Marino carries out processing for the purposes indicated in this deed as well as for purposes related to the fulfillment of administrative procedures and transparent administration.

Acceptance
The candidate who is first in the ranking must communicate in writing to the Coordinator of the Department of Economics, Science and Law (pcenci@unirsm.sm) the acceptance of the scholarship no later than 5 working days from the publication of the ranking. In the event of non-acceptance within the established terms, the residual ranking of candidates found to be suitable for the assignment of the position will be drawn.

Waiver and Forfeiture
In case of renunciation by the interested party, the same must send a formal communication addressed to the Director of the Department, by mail to the address: pcenci@unirsm.sm.
Unjustified absence for 3 consecutive days, absence on the starting day of the scholarship itself and non-observance of the indications of the relevant offices or bodies of the university or behaviors incompatible with the normal course of business in question.
The Directors of the Degree Courses in Design have the right to revoke the award of the scholarship following behavior by the scholarship holder that is incompatible with the normal performance of the activity covered by the scholarship.
The Customer reserves the right to revoke the assignment at any time and, consequently, to interrupt the collaboration relationship in advance, with respect to the agreed deadline, without any formalities, except for written communication, with 15 days notice, and without that this gives the Collaborator no right to compensation for damages. Furthermore, causes for immediate dissolution, without notice, are the failure to fulfill the services on time, excessive onerousness due to subsequent events, and mutual dissent.

Competent organizational unit responsible for the procedure
For all purposes of this selection procedure, the Coordinator of the Department of Economics, Science and Law located in San Marino, via Consiglio dei Sessanta, 99 – 47891 Customs – Rep. San Marino is identified as the competent Organizational Unit.
