The Legal Institute of the University of San Marino announces a selection for 2 Graduates, citizens of San Marino or residents, for the assignment of 2 Scholarships aimed at: the acquisition of research and investigation methodologies for editorial activities of the San Marino Legal Institute consisting in the publication, also on the telematic network, of the sentences in civil matters, one, and of the sentences in criminal matters, the other, selected and systematically organised; to support the internal staff and the teaching and scientific staff of the San Marino Legal Institute.

Activities
Each Fellow, on the recommendation and under the supervision of the Director and Scientific Council of the San Marino Legal Institute, will have the task of:

  • perform intellectual research activities aimed at collecting and publishing San Marino Civil Jurisprudence or San Marino Criminal Jurisprudence (depending on the Scholarship of which it is the winner);
  • return what has been studied and elaborated in the form of publishable material;
  • support the internal staff and the teaching and scientific staff of the San Marino Legal Institute.

In particular, the activity will consist in:

  • Find the sentences of one's area of ​​election at the chancelleries of the Court of San Marino;
  • Select the relevant judgments to process;
  • Extract the maximum from each sentence;
  • Anonymize the reference sentence;
  • Upload the processed materials on the San Marino Jurisprudence website.

The scholarship holder will carry out his activity at the San Marino Legal Institute in coordination with the Directorate of the San Marino Legal Institute.

Duration
12 months, possibly renewable, from January 15 2023; the activity of each scholarship holder will be defined in agreement with the Director of the San Marino Legal Institute.

Submission of questions
Applications, drawn up on plain paper and accompanied by certificates certifying the admission requirements, together with a detailed curriculum vitae and any certificates, must be sent in a sealed envelope no later than 12 noon on 23 November 2022 at the headquarters of the Legal Institute, Salita alla Rocca 44, 47890 San Marino.
