Public selection by qualifications and interview
The selection is announced through a public competition, by qualifications and public discussion, for the recruitment of n. 1 fixed-term researcher, through the stipulation of a 3-year employment contract, possibly renewable for another 2, pursuant to Law no. 25 of 2014 April 67, art. 20, paragraph 1 and art. 21, paragraph 3, for carrying out research and teaching activities and services to students at the Department of Economics, Sciences and Law according to the following indications:
Competition Sector: 08/C1 – Design and technological planning of architecture
Scientific-Disciplinary Sector: ICAR/13 – Industrial design
Department of affiliation: DESD
Research area: The researcher will have to develop and apply knowledge and methodologies in the field of product and process design, deepening the contribution of design in multidisciplinary fields between history and innovation, production and transformation, objects and spaces.
The richness of material and immaterial cultural heritage is configured as a challenge and an opportunity. In this context, the stories and practices of design act as mediators between goods to be preserved, materials to be valued and futures to be prefigured, towards different audiences.
Through theoretical-practical approaches and the application of consolidated and experimental methodologies, design can activate dynamics of enhancement of the tangible and intangible heritage of the communities of reference, thanks to the narration and study of innovation processes that can be declined in institutional, business and of public utility. The assignment includes theoretical and applied research activities and the ownership of teachings related to the area described above.
