Art. 2 – Requirements for admission to the comparative evaluation
Subjects in possession of adequate scientific and professional requisites can participate in the selection.
The following cannot participate in the comparative evaluation:

  1. those who are excluded from the enjoyment of civil and political rights;
  2. those who have been dismissed or released from employment in a Public Administration due to persistent insufficient performance;
  3. those who have been declared terminated from other state employment;
  4. those who, at the University of San Marino or at other universities, have been suspended from service on a precautionary basis even if discretionary for crimes for which a definitive sentence has not yet been pronounced;
  5. those who, at the University of San Marino or at other universities, have been subjected to disciplinary proceedings for facts that have given rise to sanctions exceeding censorship;
  6. those who have pending disputes with the University of San Marino;
  7. those who have a degree of kinship or affinity, up to and including the fourth degree, or a marital relationship with a member belonging to the structure that requires the activation of the contract or with the Rector, the Director General or a member of the University Council.

The position of 'teacher' is incompatible with the position of 'teaching assistant' within the Department of Economics, Science and Law - University of San Marino - within the same degree course.
For the position of 'teaching assistant', candidates who hold the structured role of professor or university researcher at the University of San Marino or at another university will not be admitted.

It is not possible to assign teaching assignments/didactic collaboration on a course of study to candidates enrolled in the same course.

Non-tenured professors from Italian universities can participate in the selection, in this case, at the sole discretion of the Commission and having verified the availability of the professor, the contract could be assigned free of charge.

A candidate may apply for a maximum of two teaching positions and two teaching assistant positions. A candidate cannot be awarded more than two positions: two teaching positions, or two teaching collaboration positions, or one teaching position and one teaching collaboration position (in the latter case, provided that they are not in the same degree course), in the scope of the positions envisaged by the public tenders issued by the DESD for the same degree course.

At the discretion of the Commission, only for teaching collaborations in which the technical component is fundamental, will it be possible to integrate the comparative assessment by qualifications with a practical test. In this case, once the evaluation phase has been completed, the Commission will summon the candidates who are found to be suitable by email containing the date and place of the practical test.
In any case, the contract and/or the letter of appointment do not give rise to rights regarding access to the roles of the University.
The Department reserves the right not to activate a course, even if assigned through this announcement, in the event that there is not a minimum number of students determined by the relative Study Programme.

Art. 3 – Procedure for submitting applications
Applications for admission to the procedure must be drawn up and sent, under penalty of exclusion, using only the PICA computer application - Integrated Platform for University Competitions - available at https://pica.cineca.it/unirsm within the peremptory deadline, under penalty of exclusion, of the 12.00 hours (Italian time) of the day Wednesday January 25 2023.
If the expiry date indicated falls on a holiday, the expiry is set on the first working day.
Methods of submitting the application other than online via the PICA platform will not be accepted.
Once the procedure for completing and sending the application has been successfully completed, the computer system automatically sends a receipt certifying the date and time of submission of the application to the candidate's email address. For technical problems and in the event that the candidate does not receive this notification email, contact support via the link at the bottom of the page https://pica.cineca.it/unirsm.
Each application will be assigned an identification number which, together with the competition code indicated in the IT application, must be specified for any subsequent communication. The identification number must also be kept for the purposes of communications from the University which require, for the respect of privacy, to omit the name of the recipient of the communication itself.
