SEEN the Three-Year Strategic Plan 2024-2026 of the University of the Republic of San Marino approved by the Great and General Council with Resolution no. 25 of 19 May 2025;
SEEN the resolution of the Department of Economics, Science, Engineering and Design of 26 January 2024 (Minutes 1/2024 resolution no. 6);
HAVING SEEN the Resolutions of the Academic Senate in the session of 29 April 2025 (Minutes 03/2025) and of the University Council in the session of 30 April 2025 (Minutes 03/2025) with which the proposal to call this evaluation procedure is approved;

Announcement of the evaluation procedure
The competition is announced, through an evaluation procedure, for the permanent hiring of n. 1 PDR DOCUNI Ordinary (First Level University Professor), at the Department of Economics, Science, Engineering and Design, scientific-disciplinary group, competition sector and scientific-disciplinary sector as specified below:

| Specific functions that the full professor will have to carry out through the indication of one or more scientific disciplinary sectors and in the research area consistent with the planning of the DESID Department: | The full professor will have to carry out his/her functions in the areas provided for by SSD CEAR-06/A (formerly ICAR/08) – CONSTRUCTION SCIENCE; GSD 08/CEAR-06 - CONSTRUCTION SCIENCE of the DESID Department. In defining the research areas, please refer to the declarations of the Italian legislation in Annex B of Ministerial Decree 855/2015. |
| Type of teaching and scientific commitment: | The research activity will mainly concern the mechanics of solids, materials and structures, involving aspects related to statics and dynamics. The models adopted will be theoretical, numerical and experimental. Other topics will be related to sustainability in the construction sector and to the modeling of innovative materials. The teaching commitment will be dedicated to the topics of the SSD CEAR- 06/A (formerly ICAR/08) within the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Courses in Civil and Environmental Engineering of the DESID Department. The full professor, moreover, will be required to participate in the collegiate bodies and will have the governance responsibilities that will be attributed to him by the same collegiate bodies. |

Deadline for submission of applications
To participate in the evaluation procedure, the candidate must produce, under penalty of exclusion, within and no later than 30 days from the day following the date of publication of the notice of this call on the website of the University of the Republic of San Marino (www.unirsm.sm) in the section "ATENEO - BANDI, CONCORSI E SELEZIONI", or no later than 12.00 on 30 June 2025, specific application, drawn up on plain paper addressed to the Rector of the University of the Republic of San Marino.
