SEEN the Three-Year Strategic Plan 2024-2026 of the University of the Republic of San Marino, approved by the Great and General Council in the session of 19 May 2025 with resolution no. 25;
SEEN resolution no. 4 of the Department Council of Human Sciences no. 3/2025 of 23/05/2025;
HAVING SEEN the Resolutions of the Academic Senate in session no. 4/2025 of 29 May 2025 and of the University Council in session no. 4/2025 of 30 May 2025 with which the proposal to announce this selection procedure is approved;

Announcement of the selection procedure
The competition is announced, through a selective procedure, for the permanent hiring of n. 1 DOCUNI Ordinary (First Level University Professor) for the Department, scientific-disciplinary group, competition sector and scientific-disciplinary sector as specified below:

| Specific functions that the full professor will have to carry out through the indication of one or more scientific disciplinary sectors and in the research area consistent with the planning of the DSU Department - Specific functions that the Full Professor will be required to carry out through the indication of one or more Scientific-Disciplinary Sectors and within a research area consistent with the planning of the DSU Department. | The Professor will have to carry out tasks relating to the three university missions (Training, Research and Third Mission) in relation to the skills required by the Scientific Disciplinary Sector of General Teaching and Special Teaching, establishing, where possible, interdisciplinary collaborations with the sectors of Psychology, Sociology and Cultural Anthropology which present skills in the educational field. - The Professor will be required to carry out tasks related to the three university missions (Teaching, Research, and Third Mission) in accordance with the competencies defined by the ScientificDisciplinary Sector of General Didactics and Special Didactics, establishing, where possible, interdisciplinary collaborations with the fields of Psychology, Sociology, and Cultural Anthropology, which have expertise in the educational domain. |
| Type of teaching and scientific commitment - Type of teaching and scientific commitment | The Professor must carry out the teaching hours foreseen annually within the Educational Offering of the Department for the Scientific Disciplinary Sector of reference, taking charge of all the teaching and evaluation duties relating to the various courses. The Professor must carry out coordination and management activities for the educational activities foreseen by the Department that show a relative greater significance for the Scientific Disciplinary Sector of reference. The Professor must carry out research, disciplinary and interdisciplinary activities, in accordance with the research plan defined annually by the Department, taking care, in particular, of the production of publications to be placed preferably in prestigious journals and editorial series. The Professor must carry out Third Mission activities, in accordance with the Annual Third Mission Plan of the Department, in possible collaboration with other Departments and services of the State or interlocutors of civil society. The Professor must be willing to participate in the governance of the University, representing the Department in it, and take charge of the functioning of the University. - The Professor shall carry out the annual teaching hours required within the Educational Offer of the Department for the relevant Scientific-Disciplinary Sector, assuming responsibility for all teaching and assessment duties related to the various courses. The Professor shall also coordinate and oversee the educational activities identified by the Department as particularly significant for the relevant Scientific-Disciplinary Sector. The Professor shall engage in disciplinary and interdisciplinary research activities in line with the research plan defined annually by the Department, with particular attention to producing publications, preferably in high-quality journals and academic series. The Professor shall also undertake Third Mission activities in accordance with the Department's Annual Third Mission Plan, potentially in collaboration with other Departments, state services, or civil society stakeholders. The Professor shall be willing to participate in University governance, representing the Department and contributing to the effective functioning of the University. |
