VISTA the file n.90/2021 of the University Council, of 07/05/2021, which authorizes the activation of student collaborations for part-time activities of students enrolled in the degree courses of the Department of Human Sciences of the University of the Republic of San Marino as part of the "University Magazine Project - MAG" and the related file n.10000/DG/ 2022 (FLOW);
ISSUES
the Call for Student Collaborations for the regulation of the forms of collaboration of students in activities related to the services rendered by the University.
Art 1
Object and aspects of the collaboration
This Call regulates the forms of collaboration for students enrolled in degree courses of the Department of Human Sciences, for activities related to the services provided by the University, with the exception of those related to teaching activities, the carrying out of exams, as well as
the assumption of administrative responsibilities.

Art 2
Limits and financial coverage
- The number of collaborations to be assigned is established annually by the University Council on the basis of the requests made by the heads of the structures and within the limits of the allocation entered annually in the University budget.
- The remuneration foreseen for each collaboration is established annually by the University Council. For the Academic Year 2022/2023 the fee for each collaboration corresponds to: € 1.200,00. This consideration is exempt from taxes in accordance with current regulations.
- The University provides insurance coverage against accidents.
- The collaboration does not in any way constitute an employment or public employment relationship, does not give rise to social security and welfare treatment, and does not give rise to any evaluation for the purposes of public competitions.
Art 3
Requirements and questions
- This call for applications, issued every year by the University of San Marino, is intended for students of the degree courses, as indicated in art. 1 and contains the rules and deadlines for the presentation of applications by students for the purpose of conferring forms of collaboration.
- The assignment of the forms of collaboration pursuant to art. 1 will take place using the rankings, formulated by a special Commission, evaluating the criteria of merit, experience and curriculum vitae. The selection will also take place on the basis of an interview aimed at verifying the required skills.
- The names of the winners will be published on the University website: www.unirsm.sm.
- Interested students may appeal against the rankings to the Rector, legal representative of the University of the Republic of San Marino, following the procedures and deadlines established by current legislation.
- The rankings, formulated by Academic Year, last for one Academic Year.
Art 4
Submission of questions
The application form must be completed on unstamped paper according to the format provided by theAnnex A (last page) and must be accompanied by the following documents:
- curriculum vitae (with any links to personal/managed social profiles if relevant);
- study plan with exams taken (downloadable from your position from the online desk);
- any portfolio (recommended)
- any certificates certifying other qualifications.
The application must be submitted no later than the peremptory deadline of 10.00 on Monday 31 October 2022, by hand, by post at the headquarters of the Degree Courses in Communication and Digital Media – Viale Antonio Onofri, 87 San Marino Città (RSM) at the following times: from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 12.00 or by sending an email to the address: dsu@unirsm.sm
Art 5
Selection of candidates
The selection will take place on the basis of the verification of the formal requirements set out in the call for tenders and an evaluation interview which certifies the suitability to carry out the activities covered by the call for tenders. The interview will take place in the presence of a Commission, appointed by the Rector's Act, on 10 November 2022 – at 17.00. Candidates must confirm their participation in the selection test by sending an e-mail communication to: dsu@unirsm.sm, within at 10.00 on 07 November 2022. By that date, indications will be provided on the modality of the interview.
The names of the winners will be published within n. 2 days from the date of the interview on the website www.unirsm.sm and individual candidates will be notified. The successful candidates of the tender must give confirmation of acceptance of the assignment - also by mail - within n. 2 days from the online publication of the winners.
The start of the collaboration is expected the November 21 2022.
Art 6
Place and duration of the collaboration
- Each form of collaboration cannot last longer than 150 hours per year.
- The collaboration can be carried out in the requesting facility and/or in 'remote' mode, in agreement with the manager of the facility itself.
- The student who graduates in the same academic year in which he is in a useful position in the ranking will still have the right to carry out or conclude the aforementioned collaboration.
- The collaboration activity must be suspended if the student, who has started the activity, gives up his studies, or moves to another university location. In this case, prompt reporting to the allocation structure will be required.
- The collaboration must, as a rule, be completed by 30 September of each year, it may possibly be extended until 31 December of the same year (always in compliance with the maximum number of hours equal to 150) only for justified reasons, evaluated and declared by the manager of the structure where the student lends his collaboration.
- Methods and times of service will be agreed with the manager of the structure in which the collaboration will be carried out. The daily presence must be documented in a special register.
Art.7
Waivers
- Any renunciation by the student of the assignment assigned will result in the student's relegation to the bottom of the ranking.
- In the event of renunciation referred to in point 1, the assignment will proceed according to the ranking order.
- Once the collaboration has begun, the student has the right to give up the assignment by giving at least 7 days' notice. to the Head of the facility.
Art 8
Carrying out the collaboration and payment of the fee
- The students who are the winners of the competition will be assigned to the reference structure, within the UNIRSM Communication Office and the Department of Human Sciences.
- Upon summoning by the structure, the student must accept in writing the collaboration assigned to him and communicate the method of payment of the fee.
- The student is required to carry out his/her services, signing the daily presence in the appropriate register, according to the instructions given by the manager of the structure where he carries out his activity.
- The University reserves the right to terminate the collaboration at any time and at its unquestionable judgement, by paying the fee relating to any activity already performed, therefore nothing else will be due to the student for any reason.
- In the opinion of the Administration, the following reasons may give rise to the termination of the collaboration, among others:
a. the failure of the selected student to appear in the assignment structure, on the day agreed with the head of the structure, without written and documented motivation;
b. unjustified absences, even lasting one day;
c. unjustified absences due to illness or for family reasons; in the event of illness lasting more than one day, the absence must be documented by a medical certificate;
d. inability to carry out the assigned work or serious shortcomings and/or negligence in carrying out the same, in the opinion of the Head of the structure;
e. having caused disturbance or damage to the functionality of the structure to which the student is assigned. In the latter case, the assignee student will be excluded a priori from the ranking referred to in this regulation and from participation in the call for the following year. - The fee relating to the collaboration will be paid at the end of the collaboration commensurate with the number of hours actually carried out, upon presentation of the attendance register and a special report drawn up by the student and delivered to the Head of the structure.
Art 9
Administrative responsibility
The manager of the structure is responsible for:
a) the identity check of the assigned student;
b) of the obligations relating to the activation and conclusion of the collaboration;
c) the verification of the student's presence on duty and the receipt of the documentation for the absences to be justified;
d) the control of compliance, by the assignee student, with the instructions given; e) the assessment of the activity carried out and the effectiveness of the services provided by the student, expressed in a specific report.
Art.10
Further collaborations
In order to deal with duly justified extraordinary and exceptional situations, the individual structures assigned may request additional collaborations with respect to those assigned through this announcement. The additional costs must be paid totally or partially by the requesting structure, on condition that there is adequate budget availability and that the supplementary expense is authorized by the competent bodies. These supplementary collaborations will be assigned by drawing from the suitable candidates present in the rankings.
Art 11
Privacy policy
Each of the Parties will be required to comply with their obligations deriving from EU Regulation 679/2016 and from Law 21 of 2018 December 171 (jointly "current regulations on the protection of personal data"), to the extent that the same are applicable to the supply of services of this notice.
The information on the processing of personal data carried out by the University of the Republic of San Marino, in its capacity as Data Controller, is freely available and can be downloaded from the appropriate "Privacy" section of the institutional website.
The University of the Republic of San Marino carries out processing not only to fulfill contractual and legal obligations but also for purposes related to the fulfillment of administrative procedures and in matters of transparent administration.
