Pursuant to art. 20 and 21 of Law 25 April 2014, n. 67, in view of the Statute of the University of San Marino, in view of the resolution of the DSU Department Council n.04 of 27/09/2022, in view of the resolution of the Academic Senate n.7/2022 of 12/10/2022 and of the authorization of the University Council dated 30/03/2022 (report n.2) a call for applications for a scholarship is announced at the Department of Human Sciences of the University – Degree Course in Communication and Digital Media intended for relationship activities with schools, institutions and companies aimed at the implementation and provision of guidance, internship and placement services dedicated to students of the Communication and Digital Media degree courses. The orientation, internship and placement tutor operates according to the directives of the Department of Human Sciences Management and supports the university academic and administrative structure in the management of the training activities collateral to the study plan, aimed at the maturation of the student in his professional development path.
The management of relations with the representatives of schools, institutions and companies and the processing of data connected to these, lead the tutor to carry out his work by combining highly relational activities with back-office logistical-operational activities.

1) Activities
The successful candidate will carry out the following activities for the benefit of the Degree Course in Communication and Digital Media:

  • communication and promotion of educational activities in schools, events and dedicated portals;
  • collaboration in the promotion of the courses through the identification and implementation of strategies and activities aimed at this;
  • organizational management of the internship, curricular and post-graduate courses of students/undergraduates/graduates;
  • promotion of the Courses through the identification and participation in the initiatives considered suitable for pursuing the objectives of the assignment;
  • implementation and updating of the company/institutions/partner contact database and promotion of possible collaborations with the Courses;
  • implementation and updating of the student/undergraduate/graduate database and monitoring of the related progress;
  • activities aimed at post-graduate placement for the benefit of students/undergraduates/graduates.

2) Duration and amount:
of 12 months, from 1 December 2022 al November 30, 2023, For a total of 1000 hours per year, to be recorded in a special register drawn up and signed by the scholarship holder. The position may be renewable for a further 12 months, on the initiative of the Director of the Department of Human Sciences.
The scholarship holder's activity will be carried out according to the procedures established by the Directorate of the Department of Human Sciences (DSU). The amount of the scholarship amounts to €833,33= (eight hundred and thirty-three/33) gross/monthly, for a total amount of €10.000,00 per year. The scholarship does not imply subordination constraints and does not give rise to social security benefits or assessments for careers in the Public Administration.

3) Admission requirements:

  • three-year degree, primarily in Communication and Digital Media and in Communication Sciences (L-20) or in related classes;
  • good knowledge of the English language (level B1);
  • knowledge and professional experience in the sector and in the activities covered by the tender;
  • age not exceeding 35 years on the date of issue of the notice;
  • not be permanently busy;
  • citizenship or residence of San Marino or other European or non-European citizenship;
  • enjoyment of civil and political rights;
  • physical fitness for employment;
  • have not been subjected, with a final judgment, to criminal convictions for an intentional crime which involve restriction of personal freedom for a period of not less than one year or which involve disqualification from public office for the same amount of time;
  • not be forfeited from employment in the Public Administration for one of the causes indicated in article 80 paragraph 1 of Law no. 22 of 1972 December 41;
  • not having been subjected to the disciplinary sanction of dismissal in accordance with the regulations in force.

4) Presentation of applications:
Applications for admission to the selection, drawn up on unstamped paper according to the format indicated (Annex 1) and accompanied by certificates attesting the admission requirements and any other certifications useful for the assessment, must be submitted no later than 12.00 of the day November 21, 2022 by hand delivery to the Department of Human Sciences - viale Antonio Onofri, 87 - San Marino (RSM) at the following times: Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 12.00, or by sending by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt or by courier. The date of recruitment in protocol of the same at the Department of Human Sciences will be considered.
The certificates attached to the application form must have been issued by the respective university offices and institutions with a date no earlier than 3 months from the date of submission of the application.
In the application, candidates must indicate: surname and name, date and place of birth, personal identification code (ISS code or tax code), residence and domicile, if any, for the delivery of communications relating to the tender, as well as the e-mail address.
On the envelope containing the application for admission, candidates must indicate: Name and Surname – Call for applications for Tutoring, internship and placement scholarship.
The application must be accompanied by the following documents:
a) copy of the identity document;
b) general criminal record;
c) certificate of pending charges;
d) certificate of enjoyment of civil and political rights;
e) certificate attesting the achievement of the qualification required as a requirement;
f) curriculum of scientific, didactic and professional activity;
g) any additional qualifications, publications and certificates and documents that may constitute an element of evaluation for the activities that the candidate will carry out.
The certificates referred to in letters b), c) and d) can be replaced with a specific declaration signed by the interested party, pursuant to art. 12 of the law of 5 October 2011 n. 159. Incomplete, unsigned applications, those without personal data and those sent after the peremptory deadline will not be admitted. The university administration assumes no responsibility for the case of unavailability of the recipient of its communications and for the loss of communications due to incorrect indication of the address by the candidate or failure or late communication of the change of address indicated in the application.
Furthermore, the University Administration assumes no responsibility for any failure or late delivery of communications relating to the competition for reasons not attributable to the Administration itself but to postal or telegraphic errors, to third parties, unforeseeable circumstances, force majeure .
The Administration reserves the right to carry out appropriate checks on the truthfulness of the content of the information provided.

5) Testing and Evaluation:
Candidates will be subjected to a comparative assessment based on the qualifications presented and supplemented by an interview aimed at assessing the level of knowledge and skills required, by an examining commission made up of experts in the matters covered by the service appointed by Rectoral Decree.
The evaluation will be based on the following criteria:
– Motivation
– Degree and mark obtained
– Experience in the organization and management of activities covered by this announcement
– Other titles/Language
In the event of the same score obtained in the ranking, candidates with San Marino citizenship or residence will be given preference.
The Commission's judgment is final.
The selection test is scheduled for the day 23 November 2022 – h. 11.00 at the headquarters of the Department of Human Sciences of the University of the Republic of San Marino – viale Antonio Onofri, 87 – San Marino – tel. 0549 887077) Candidates must confirm their participation in the selection test by sending an email communication to: dsu@unirsm.sm within hours 12.00 of 22 November 2022.
At the end of the evaluation, the Commission will formulate the merit ranking of the aspiring assignees, which will be displayed at the headquarters of the Department of Human Sciences and will be published on the website of the University of San Marino (www.unirsm.sm).
Acceptance
The candidate resulting first in the ranking must communicate in writing to the Department of Human Sciences (dsu@unirsm.sm), the acceptance of the scholarship no later than 5 working days from the publication of the ranking. In the event of non-acceptance within the established terms, the residual ranking of candidates found to be suitable for the assignment of the position will be drawn.

6) Insurance and social security treatment
At its own expense, the University provides insurance coverage for the scholarship holder for accidents and civil liability towards third parties for events that occurred and occurred in the performance of the activity. No social security treatment is envisaged for the contracts referred to in this announcement.

7) Treatment of personal data
All information and data provided in the context of administrative procedures and for the use of services provided by the University of the Republic of San Marino will be processed in accordance with the Law of 21 December 2018 n. 171 – “Protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data” and the information published on the University portal www.unirsm.sm. The same information may be communicated to the public administrations directly interested in the legal-economic position of the successful candidate.

8) Renunciation and forfeiture
In case of renunciation by the interested party, the same must send a formal communication addressed to the Director of the Department of Human Sciences, by ordinary mail or by email to the address: dsu@unirsm.sm.
Unjustified absence for 3 consecutive days, absence on the starting day of the scholarship itself and non-observance of the indications of the relevant offices or bodies of the university or behaviors incompatible with the normal course of business in question.
The Customer reserves the right to revoke the assignment at any time and, consequently, to interrupt the collaboration relationship in advance, with respect to the agreed deadline, without any formalities, except for written communication, with 15 days notice, and without that this gives the Collaborator no right to compensation for damages. Furthermore, causes for immediate dissolution, without prior notice, are the failure to fulfill the services on time, excessive onerousness due to subsequent events, and mutual dissent.
