Higher education course in health communication
University of San Marino
The Course was born from the awareness of the lack of specific training on communication in medical studies. The course aims to provide healthcare personnel (and not only) with theoretical and practical skills to communicate effectively with both patients and colleagues. In an increasingly complex healthcare context oriented towards the quality of services, good communication is essential to ensure effective care and functional professional relationships. The course is based on principles such as listening, feedback, emotional and relational management, with the aim of improving doctor-patient interaction and teamwork.
The course includes moments of practical and laboratory activities, which integrate the frontal teaching and the topics covered by the teachers.
Those who enroll in the entire Advanced Training Course in Healthcare Communication will be entitled to ECM training credits (for both Italian and San Marino students).
