Il Center for the Study and Applied Research on Dyslexia, is a research center of the University of the Republic of San Marino that deals with the study of specific learning disabilities under the scientific direction of Prof. Giacomo Stella.

The center, active since 2010, deals with training, research and interventions on the territory.

The center deals with training through the organization of masters, advanced training courses, seminars and events.

 

MASTER I LEVEL
Techniques for the Re-education of DSA

The Master, lasting one year, provides for the training of experts in the field of rehabilitation of learning disabilities. The Master aims to train, in a highly qualified way, professionals of different disciplines, such as speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, educators, teachers to enable them to provide individual users and educational institutions with treatment and prevention services in the field of specific learning disabilities.

II LEVEL MASTER
Evaluation and Neuropsychological Treatment of DSA

The Master, lasting one year, intends to train, in a highly qualified way Psychologists and Doctors, with particular regard to child neuropsychiatrists and pediatricians, for the creation of diagnosis and integrated treatments in the field of specific learning disorders: the course aims to provide individual users and health and educational institutions with consultancy, diagnosis, treatment and prevention services in the field of learning disabilities in children and adolescents. The most current ones will also be presented IT and technological tools to support learning in order to define and evaluate a complete rehabilitation project and verify its effectiveness.

ADVANCED TRAINING COURSE
Learning Technologist for DSA and other BES

The course, lasting one year, has the aim of training qualified personnel to work with students with specific learning difficulties, to promote their autonomy, within projects such as after-school specialists for pupils with DSA in primary and secondary schools of first and second degree.

Since 2022 he has been actively working in the field of research on learning disabilities and the main neurodevelopment disorders thanks to the presence of a researcher.

Among the Third Mission activities, the Center for the Study and Applied Research on Dyslexia over the years has given rise to experimental projects with important repercussions on the territory.
