Established in 2015, the Center for Research and Education in Biomedical Studies opera within the Department of Economics, Science, Engineering and Design of the University of the Republic of San Marino. The educational offer is characterized by a common intent that starts from the "founding principles of medical culture".

Held in a university context in which there is no Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, the courses in the biomedical field of the University of San Marino intend to refer to a global and integrated conception of medicine and its dual nature, both scientific and humanistic, in a vision that refers to the Hippocratic tradition.

Training offering

XNUMXst level Masters

The Master, in collaboration with the "Carlo Bo" University of Urbino, aims to provide a solid criminological preparation to those who work in the field of diagnosis and treatment of antisocial conduct and the protection of the incapable.

The Master's in nutraceuticals and food education, in collaboration with the University of Chieti, aims to train professionals dedicated to primary prevention, nutritional support in specific sectors and support of every therapeutic level through the correction of the style of life on the basis of the most recent scientific indications.

The Master introduces osteopathic applications in rheumatology for the treatment of chronic and disabling diseases, is in collaboration with the University of Parma and with the Italian College of Osteopathy.

II level Masters

The Master provides high-level training in the field of Geriatric Medicine in collaboration with the University of Ferrara, with reference to epidemiology, atypical pathologies related to ageing, their classification and treatment.

The XNUMXnd level University Master's degree active at the University of San Marino and carried out in co-partnership with the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome provides basic specialist training in Perioperative Medicine with specific reference to the elderly patient.

Seminars

The seminars are aimed at criminologists, jurists and professionals in the legal and economic fields, law enforcement and security forces operators, public employees, doctors, psychiatrists, social and health workers, sociologists, psychologists, teachers and educators and all interested parties .

Themes of medicine and aesthetic surgery will be explored, starting from the therapies of trichological pathologies (androgenetic alopecia and other types of alopecia), highlighting the essential role of solid professional training.
