The Territory Technician needs to know the structure of the bodies and procedures through which the Public Administration (Municipalities, Unions of Municipalities, Metropolitan Cities, Provinces, Regions, State) deliberates in the areas of urban planning, construction and landscape protection. The course aims to enrich the technical skills of the professional with the basic notions useful for establishing a profitable and responsible collaborative relationship with the decision-making authorities.
Expected learning outcomes
Through the test, the teacher intends to evaluate the student's aptitude, within the system of sources, to identify the provisions to be applied to specific cases.
Course contents
The course provides basic knowledge of the governance system of regions and local authorities, which are responsible for land management. Special attention is paid to landscape and environmental protection, with reference to national, international, and European Union legislation. Basic knowledge of administrative procedures (urban planning and building permits, environmental protection, access to public administration documents) as well as judicial protection will also be provided.
