Research interests
In the field of geomatics research I have always dealt with geodesy, topography and photogrammetry, laser scanner, remote sensing, representation, management, and statistical analysis of data in a GIS environment.
Since 2003 I have been part of the research group of the National Antarctic Research Program and have participated in 8 scientific expeditions to the Antarctic continent for the measurement and study of crustal movements using satellite systems, in Northern Victoria Land.
I have also always been involved in the study and integration of both terrestrial and aerial data acquisition systems (geodetic, topographic, photogrammetric, laser scanner, multispectral, hyperspectral) and in the optimization of data processing techniques for the description, characterization and monitoring of the territory, structures, agricultural, tree and forest crops and for the protection of cultural heritage.
