The Department of Humanities develops research, training and third mission programs relating to the macro-sectors of Training and Communication.
Training sector
The sector "Training”, closely linked to the qualification of the school world, plans activities that concern the innovation of the school system, the initial and continuous training of the personnel who work in it and various areas of Psychology and the Psychopathology of Learning.
Communication sector
The sector "Communication” moves in the field of Communication, New Media and Cognitive Sciences. One of its sections promotes the study of memory in its various dimensions.
Several Research Centers operate within the Department: the Center for research and teaching "Theater and Citizenship"; the Center for the study and applied research on dyslexia; the Center for Memory Studies; the Study Center on Video Storytelling; he'Permanent Observatory on Youth Condition; The Unified Resource Center.
