Subject

In recent years, the widespread diffusion of generative AI has prompted many universities to adopt strategies to integrate it into university teaching, with varying degrees of effectiveness and success, especially in terms of helping students balance the conscious use of generative AI with the development of their own skills and competencies, enabling them to be independent and challenge it. Several Italian and international studies are addressing this issue, with results that are sometimes interesting, but more often hindered by the fact that academic research and peer-reviewed scientific publications are unable to keep pace with the rapidity with which IT tools evolve and change.
The research will address the problem in a targeted manner on the teaching of the three-year program in Communication and Digital Media and the Master's in Communication, Management and New Media at DSU.
