In collaboration with the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo", the Summer School aims to both delve into the historical and cultural path followed by the San Marino legal system for the preservation of common law, through the analysis of the constitutional architecture and multiple sources, and to explore the most relevant issues.
Examples include: the integration of the system of protection of fundamental rights and freedoms between domestic and supranational law; the role of the judge-interpreter, as a direct mediator between the specific case and the legal principle; and the regulation of contracts, balancing the needs for flexibility in negotiations with the certainty of the parties' trust.
