Study day on the results of the AlzSM project

The event, organized on the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day, will be an opportunity to present the first results of the study conducted by researchers from the Universities of San Marino, Reading, Cardiff and Exeter and the Neurology Unit (ISS) of the Republic of San Marino who conducted the research. The AlzSM study is an international multicenter study, carried out at the Neurology Unit since 2017 with the aim of characterizing the alterations of clinical, instrumental and electrophysiological parameters in patients with Alzheimer's disease. The ultimate goal of the research is to identify new markers that allow an ever earlier diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, thus increasing the time window in which it is possible to intervene to counteract the disease.
