MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS

Inequalities: first and second degree inequalities, fractional rational inequalities, inequalities with absolute value, irrational inequalities, systems of inequalities. Graphical inequalities. Examples and exercises.
Powers, properties. Division between polynomials, decomposition of polynomials. Notable products. Review of analytical geometry. Examples and exercises.
Elements of goniometry: the sine, cosine, tangent functions. Relationship between angles and arcs. Exponential function and logarithmic function. Examples and exercises.

INFORMATICA

The course aims to teach students the use of Microsoft Word and Excel applications, essential for their university career.
We start from the rudiments, getting familiar with the interfaces of the two software, then introducing the basic functions, ending with the more complex ones. The objective of the pre-course is to enable students to achieve mastery and autonomy, even if basic, of the two IT tools.

GEOMETRY

Introduction to systems of linear equations. Methods for solving linear systems and geometric interpretation. Examples and exercises.

PHYSICS

Physics and Measurements; Significant Figures; Scientific notation; Carriers; Sum and difference of Vectors; Scalar and vector products.

How to participate

All interested students are invited to participate, even if not yet formally enrolled.
Lessons will take place face-to-face.
