The spaces of the Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara, the main building of the University of the Republic of San Marino, will host an exhibition of the final works from eight workshops that, during the current week, have involved 180 students, nine designers, and a faculty of the University's Design Degree Programs. On Saturday, July 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 13:30 p.m., over 50 works will be on display, including installations, photographic materials, prototypes, and more, relating to areas such as online public administration services, migration, social and solidarity economies, spaces for "zero kilometer" distribution, and accessibility to cultural sites for persons with disabilities, with a special focus on San Marino. The initiative, entitled "Design for Communities — Social Innovation at the Center of the Project," is organized by the Design Degree Programs of the University of the Republic of San Marino with the patronage of the Secretariat of State for Tourism and Sport, AgID — Agency for Digital Italy, and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic, in collaboration with the Degree Program in Industrial Product Design at the University of Bologna, the Titancoop cooperative, the Consorzio San Marino 2000, the Botteghe del Mondo AssoBdM association, SDC Trade srl, and Insegna Trony. Admission to the exhibition is free. A visit by the San Marino Secretary of State for Education, Giuseppe Morganti, is planned.
