After the institutional greetings, the speaker will speak Regional guarantor of human rights of the Marche Region, Lawyer Giancarlo Giulianelli.
The research group will present the results of the research and finally there will be a final debate/round table. 

Brief description of the topic
Reflection on the prison system, alternative punishments and human rights have been some of the fundamental themes of our Master's in Criminology and Forensic Psychiatry for several years. Since 2021, a conference on these topics has been held annually.
The studies and in-depth studies dedicated to the execution of the sentence and the rehabilitation of the offender have made San Marino a center of interest on the topic, creating debate and projects in which scientific and technical experts but also the institutions of the Republic of San Marino and the Italy.
The primary objective of the research group is to carry out study, analysis and in-depth activities that accompany the institutions involved step by step in this process of change which sees the Republic of San Marino increasingly adapted to an international context oriented towards the application of models justice alternatives.
