Useful information for teachers and collaborators

Teachers and teaching assistants undertake to:

  1. comply with the obligations of conduct and incompatibility set forth in the Code of Ethics, the University Regulations and the Information on the processing of personal data;
  2. acknowledge and fully accept the document illustrating the University Quality Policies, committing to apply the general policies and guidelines for Quality established by the University Governing Bodies;
  3. personally carry out teaching and research activities, in compliance with the timetables, methods and programmes established in agreement with the Management of the Degree Course, or the proposing structure;
  4. participate in meetings of the collegiate bodies.

Teachers and teaching assistants, if they hold teaching positions, are also required to:

  1. carry out the training activities envisaged in the study programme;
  2. participate, for all sessions and until the completion of the extraordinary session of the year for which the contract was stipulated, in the examination commissions foreseen for the verification of the students' progress, in the capacity of presidents and in the commissions for the achievement of the qualification;
  3. follow the final papers and theses for the achievement of the qualifications issued by the University;
  4. carry out reception and assistance activities for students, orientation and promotion of the Degree Course;
  5. complete the Syllabus in line with the expected training objectives and learning outcomes and complete your profile on the web portal, as indicated in the University guidelines, within 30 days of signing the contract, and in any case before the start of lessons;
  6. fill out the online register, the validation of the register by the Director of the Course of Study and the Director of the Department constitutes certification of the regular performance of the activity.

Le credentials in the unirsm.it domain They are issued and renewed on the basis of the association of the teacher or collaborator to the teaching activity by the Student Secretariat.

They are needed to access:

  • to the University email address
  • to Microsoft apps: Teams, Onedrive,..
  • to the wireless network in university buildings

Teachers are required to define in good time and make public:

  • the contents of the teachings
  • the exam program
  • the methods of carrying out learning assessments

all in line with the training objectives and expected learning outcomes.

To report on the teaching activity carried out during the lesson, the titular teacher is required to fill in the register by accessing his/her reserved area from esse3 counter.

The completed and signed register represents the certification of the performance of one's teaching activity and therefore it is necessary to send it to the relevant department for validation and to fulfill the administrative-accounting skills.

Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, the verbalization of exams, by the professor/president of the exam commission, will take place exclusively online and it will be necessary to have a digital signature issued by UNIRSM.

The teacher, equipped with a valid personal identity document and Tax Code, is required to present himself, by appointment, at one of the following locations:

It is also recommended to show up with a smartphone or device to be able to carry out all the procedures at the same time as the release and verify their success.

The teacher is required to update his/her profile by accessing his/her reserved area from esse3 counter.

The teacher can view the material independently, in his/her own reserved area, of their exam session, and of the number and names of those registered. They also have the option, if they wish, to add students who were unable to register for the exam because they were late (any technical problems must have been promptly reported to the student secretariat).
However, we remind you that students who are not up to date with the payment of fees cannot register and take the exam. Even if the student is forcibly added by the teacher, the grade will not be uploaded to the student's record book.
Following the test, the teacher enters only the final results; at the same time, the esse3 system sends a communication to the students registered for the exam regarding the entry of the result, who will have 5 days to accept/reject the grade. After 5 days, the teacher receives an automatic notification and can return to their reserved area of ​​esse3 and digitally sign the report. The report will be automatically recorded and the grades will be uploaded to the students' online booklets.
Following the verbalization, students will receive an automatic message confirming that they have been registered in their career.

It is the duty of the staff structured in teaching and research roles to upload and constantly keep updated the internal database relating to their research products, in particular the University Catalogue. IRIS.
