Biographical profile
Graduated in Civil Engineering, majoring in Structures at the University of Padua and PhD in Structural Mechanics at the University of Bologna. Member of the Collegio dei Tecnici dell’Acciaio (CTA) and former delegate to the Italian Board of Directors of IABSE (International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering). Elected to the Board of Directors and XXVII President of the CTA. Member of the editorial team of the magazine Costruzioni Metalliche and formerly of the International Journal of Architectural Engineering Technology. Affiliated to the Italian Group IABMAS (International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety). Former member of the UNI commission “Steel Structures” and working commissions on Eurocodes. He has organized and participated in webinars, seminars, round tables and workshops. He has collaborated in the steel field with the main national companies and bodies.
