
Biographical profile
Sergio Teggi graduated in Physics at the University of Modena in 1988.
He is Full Professor for the scientific disciplinary sector Health-Environmental Engineering ICAR/03 at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
He is and has been teaching university courses on the remediation of contaminated sites, environmental remote sensing, environmental monitoring, environmental engineering, dispersion of contaminants in the atmosphere, topography and cartography. He has also carried out teaching activities at the University of the Republic of San Marino and for the Military Academy of Modena.
He is a member of the PhD school in Civil, Environmental and Materials Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
He is the scientific director of the Geophysical Observatory of Modena (meteorological observations and museum headquarters).
He has participated, also as Scientific Director, in national and international research projects.
He has worked as a Reviewer and Editor for various international magazines. He has been part of the scientific committee of national and international journals. He has participated, also upon invitation, in national and international conferences. He has been Chairman in national and international conferences.
