• Francesco Zammori was born in Fivizzano (MS) on 23/12/1980.
• On November 10, 2002 He graduated in Management Engineering and obtained the Degree in Management Engineering (logistics and production address) with 110/110 cum laude (exam average 29), at the Engineering Faculty of Pisa.
• On 14 December 2004 he obtained the Master's Degree in Management Engineering (logistics and production address) with 110/110 cum laude (exam average 29.5), at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pisa.
• On 16 March 2009 he obtained the title of PhD in mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pisa, discussing a thesis entitled "Mathematical model for operation management".
• In February 2009 he won an annual scholarship (through a public competition for qualifications), to carry out research activities in logistics and supply chain management, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pisa;
• In March 2010 he won a six-monthly scholarship (through a public competition for qualifications), to carry out research activities on environmental sustainability and renewable energy issues, at the energy department of the University of Pisa;
• On 23 December 2011 he won a position as a permanent researcher, sector ING-IND/35, at the Engineering Faculty of Parma.
• In January 2014 he obtained the confirmation in the role and the qualification as Associate Professor for the competition sector ING-IND/35.
• Acts as Scientific Reviewer for numerous international journals (operation management, operational research and project management).
• He is Editor in Chief (for the European area) of the journal “Decision Science Letters”, published by Growing Science.
• He is Editor in Chief (for the European area) of the journal “Mathematical Problem In Engineering”, published by Hindawi.
• In 2015 he was organizer and chairman of the special session “Lean in Make To Order Firms” held within the international conference IESM-2015 (IEEE) held in Seville in October. In the same year he was appointed to the committee
of the international conference AIIE-2015, concerning topics of artificial intelligence and simulation of production systems.
• Since 2017 he has held the role of Secretary for the master's degree course in management engineering at the University of Parma.
