The course aims to provide students with a detailed introduction to the topics of financial analysis and planning, costing systems in various industrial contexts, and cost-based decisions to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations.

The course explores the architecture of information systems with particular reference to modern ERP systems.

By the end of the course, students will have acquired basic knowledge of the structure and functioning of a project, as well as knowledge of the main project management techniques and models.

The course has as its educational objective to introduce the student to the statistical study of business phenomena, through elementary and advanced statistical techniques, which have an immediate operational applicability in concrete operational contexts.

This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for the study of technological processes and manufacturing systems for components and industrial products. The primary objective of the course is to develop skills that allow the student to understand the production process of a mechanical component within an industrial context starting from the information present in the mechanical drawing of the part.

By the end of the course, students should have acquired key knowledge regarding the structure and operating principles of a simulator, including: analysis of the context to be virtually reproduced, statistical analysis of the data describing the process, tools for developing a simulator of the analyzed process, analysis of the data obtained from the simulation process, and optimization of operating levers to improve process performance.

During the internship period, the student has the opportunity to gain experience in a private (companies, professional studios, engineering company) or public organization. Furthermore, the student will be able to take part in the extensive research activity carried out by professors and researchers, conducted in collaboration with universities and international research institutes.

The internship is supervised by a professor in charge of the University.

During the second semester of the 2nd year, the student must choose additional courses activated at the University for a total of 12 ECTS.

The lessons of the second period, of the second year, will be held at the University of Parma.

The graduation exam, the final exam of the course of study, will be taken at the University of the Republic of San Marino.

The student will be evaluated for the disciplinary competence and the acquired autonomous elaboration and research skills.
