The Engineering Management degree course (class L–9) of the University of the Republic of San Marino is active starting from the 2012/2013 academic year. XNUMX/XNUMX, by virtue of the Agreement entered into with the University of Parma. The course guarantees to the student who has successfully completed the training course, the issue of a "double title" degree by the University of San Marino and the University of Parma, legally valid in the Republic of San Marino , in Italy and Europe.

The course aims to provide a solid basic scientific preparation together with an overview of technical issues and engineering methods for solving problems in the professional field of management engineering. The level of skills achieved at the end of the training course allows graduates to enter and operate in the world of work in very diversified and qualified fields, including the re-engineering of business processes, the development of models, systems and applications to support decisions, the design of organizational systems and procedures for the interaction between companies and between them and the buyers of the goods and services produced, the configuration of planning and control systems for operational and financial activities, the operational management of complex projects, production management and distribution, quality and safety management, industrial and service marketing. The general preparation provided allows graduates to acquire additional specific skills, even independently. At the same time, the three-year degree course has the essential function of preparing for Master's Degree Course in Engineering Management which provides a more complete and in-depth expertise on the core topics of Management Engineering.

On the basis of the aforementioned Convention between the University of the Republic of San Marino and the University of Parma, the student who successfully completes the training course will be awarded a "double title" degree, legally valid both in the Republic of San Marino than in Italy and Europe.

These graduates will then be able to:

  • continue your studies by enrolling in the Master's Degree Course in Engineering Management of the University of the Republic of San Marino (also provided in agreement with the University of Parma in "double titration" mode)
  • continue academic studies at any other Italian (or European) university, by enrolling in a Master's Degree Course or a 1st level University Master's Degree in accordance with the individual teaching regulations (and possibly with the legislation of individual foreign countries other than 'Italy)
  • complete the university career by entering the world of work.

Access to the degree course is free (there is no limited number).

Students in possession of a high school diploma or other qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable can enroll in the degree course.

It has the task of optimizing the factors and processes that contribute to production with a view to "lean production" by introducing production and organizational methods to achieve efficiency and productivity improvement objectives.
