IISA San Marino
International Institute of Administrative Sciences
Sammarinese Institute of Legal Studies e National Section of the Republic of San Marino of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences, IISA San Marino signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2019 for collaborations in activities of common interest and to agree and implement integrated forms of collaboration on a scientific and educational-training level.
The San Marino National Section of the IISA is an association made up of managers, officials of the Public Administration and scholars of the sector. It was born in the early nineties and is associated with the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (Institut International des Sciences Administrativees IIAS) to which the State of San Marino joined in 1953.
In 2015 it adopted a new statute with which it also opened the possibility of registration to employees in the Public Administration role as experts.
Core values of the Association
The statutory purposes of the IISA association can be summarized in the common objective of contributing to the development of projects and initiatives aimed at promoting the study, elaboration and dissemination of works, studies, research and experiences aimed at improving the knowledge and practice of administration, with the theme of the managerial role and the improvement of public services at the centre.
The Association has found synergic forms with the academic world to which is added a recent support from the General Directorate of the Public Function. Beyond the statutory purposes that, in several points, recall the collaboration with the scientific world, the Association also addresses civil society, trade and sector associations.
