The Department of Economics, Science, Engineering and Design (DESID) of the University of the Republic of San Marino organizes the First Level Annual Master's Degree in Criminology and Forensic Psychiatry.

The course, activated in agreement with the Law Department of the Carlo Bo University of Urbino, provides for the issue of a joint degree, valid both in Italy and in the Republic of San Marino.

The Master aims to provide a solid criminological preparation to those who work in the field of diagnosis, treatment of antisocial conduct and the protection of the incapable, to those who carry out activities in the field of prevention and investigation, as well as to all those who, in possession of a university degree, intend to deepen the aspects of criminology, victimology, criminalistics and forensic psychiatry.

The Master also intends to provide all security and social control operators with a valid opportunity for training and professional updating, through classroom teaching, seminars and internships in particularly representative structures.

The course will address a series of particularly current issues which, given their theoretical complexity and strong applicative impact, present a greater interest in view of the training of a professional figure capable of managing the tools offered by the new forensic psychiatric, investigative and of protection of incapable persons.
