Biographical profile
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ferrara with full marks and honors in 1985.
Specialization in Neurology in 1989.
Since 1992 Researcher at the University of Ferrara, Associate Professor since 2016.
It carries out healthcare activities under an agreement with the University Hospital of Ferrara (Neurological Clinical Operational Unit).
Referee activity for the main international Neurology journals.
Member of the Editorial Board of BMC Neurology.
Holder of various Neurology courses in the Degree Courses in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and Nursing and in various Specialization Schools of the University of Ferrara.
Main publications
Author/co-author of 176 works published in full in indexed journals (H-index 36), mainly in the field of Neuroepidemiology and Clinical Neurology and, especially in recent years, in the diagnosis, prognosis and therapy of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
