Registrations open for the masters on Specific Learning Disorders of the University of San Marino

The training courses, directed by Giacomo Stella, are aimed at doctors, psychologists, speech therapists, educators and teachers

EXTENSION OF ENROLLMENTS UNTIL 30/12/2016

A specialized and high-level training for those who work in the field of specific learning disorders, from hospitals to schools, especially among white coats and teachers. This is what is offered by the two Masters on the subject organized by the University of the Republic of San Marino under the direction of Giacomo Stella, recognized by the scientific community as one of the references in the sector, and in partnership with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The first level Master's in "Techniques for the rehabilitation of specific learning disorders" will bring university professors, rehabilitation specialists and clinicians to the chair to provide useful knowledge for understanding the diagnosis, building an expert language and identifying the areas to be treat, focusing on the most up-to-date and effective intervention tools and methodologies for re-education, strengthening and prevention. The Master, which will also explore the aspects related to the most suitable computerized tools for re-education, is aimed in particular at speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, educators and teachers.
The second level Master's Degree in "Evaluation and neuropsychological treatment of specific learning disorders", aimed mainly at psychologists and doctors, aims instead at training professionals who will be called upon to diagnose, treat and prevent learning disabilities in childhood and adolescence. The program includes, in particular, live clinical activities conducted by Stella, with the aim of providing participants with field experiences.
For further information on the programmes, which will be divided between the San Marino and Bologna campuses between January and December 2017, it is possible to consult the San Marino University website, www.unirsm.sm, in the "educational offer" section. Applications for registration must be received by 12:30 on 3 December next.
