Specialist in Child Neuropsychiatrist and Psychiatry; Psychotherapist (SITCC); President of the Italian Society of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (SIDiN) in the years 2009-2015; Coordinator of the Neuropsychology Section of the Italian Society of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry in the years 2008-2011; co-author of the texts The Dyslexias (1991) and Dyslexia and pedagogical discomfort (1997) and, for the Erickson editions, some texts Taking care of intellectual disability (2008) the promotion of mental health in intellectual disability (2010) Narratives and Intellectual Disability (2013); Scholastic well-being in students with SLD (2017); contract professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia; speaker at the Consensus Conference on DSA organized by the National System of Guidelines (Istituto Superiore della Sanità; Rome, 2010); Jury member of the Consensus Conference "Guidelines for the use of narrative medicine in the clinical care setting, for rare and chronic-degenerative diseases" (Istituto Superiore di Sanità; Rome, 2014); he is one of the founders of the “Personae” Association of Reggio Emilia -; Holder of the Complex Module of Psychopathology of Development and Learning of the University Hospital of Modena (1978 - 2009); Medical Director of "Progetto Crescere" (Reggio Emilia) since 2010.
