The leaders of the Italian National College of Surveyors, the University of San Marino, and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia will present the first degree program for surveyors in Italy on Thursday, May 19, at the Teatro Titano in San Marino. Starting at 3:00 PM, the new three-year degree program, "Construction and Land Management," will be presented by, among others, the president and vice president of the National College of Surveyors, Maurizio Savoncelli and Antonio Benvenuti; the president of the Rimini College of Surveyors, Massimo Giorgetti; the president of the Rimini Surveyors Foundation, Stefano Domeniconi; the Secretary of State for Education of San Marino, Giuseppe Maria Morganti; and the rector of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Angelo Oreste Andrisano.

Representing the University of the Republic of San Marino, which is organizing the degree program in collaboration with the participating academic and professional bodies, will be the Director of the Department of Economics, Science, and Law, Anna Corradi, and the President of the Degree Program, Angelo Marcello Tarantino.
In anticipation of the event, the professor himself expressed, "On behalf of the University, our utmost satisfaction with the creation of the new Bachelor's Degree Program, which marks us as the first in Italy to offer a specific curriculum for the training of graduate surveyors. The initiative," Tarantino added, "complies with a European directive requiring a Bachelor's Degree by 2020 for practicing as a freelancer. To promote the launch of the new program, we have launched a series of initiatives, including strengthening the secretarial service, creating a dedicated website, increasing the number of workstations in the computer rooms, and providing online support for recording lectures."

At the end of the presentation, the agreement launching the degree course will be signed, involving school principals, the Rimini surveyors, and the University of San Marino.
