The Aula Magna of the university campus of the Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara, in the historic center of San Marino, will be named after Fausta Morganti during a ceremony on March 8th. The ceremony will also include the unveiling of a pomegranate tree and a commemorative stele dedicated to the San Marino native, placed in the building's gardens.
In collaboration with the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture, starting at 15:30 PM in the Omerelli district, the Rector of the University of the Republic of San Marino, Corrado Petrocelli, will explain the reasons and significance of this choice to institutional and other representatives. The initiative will then continue in the gardens, where the Società Unione Mutuo Soccorso Femminile (SUMS) has overseen the planting of the tree and the installation and preparation of the stele. The public is invited to attend.
