The course aims to provide a more focused and in-depth understanding of the internationalization process, a cornerstone of corporate strategy along with the other crucial aspect of innovation. The approach to internationalization strategies involves the transmission of conceptual tools and the analysis of practical cases, useful for acquiring skills and knowledge that can be applied to business success abroad.
Professor Massimo Ferdinandi will be the Scientific Director of the Advanced Training Course. This new edition will again feature 130 hours of lectures taught by qualified university professors, diplomats, and multinational company executives.
One of the main new teaching methods of the course is the teaching "The Internationalization of Businesses and Tourist Destinations," a testament to the growing attention paid to one of the driving forces of economic development in the Republic of San Marino.
At the end of the course, a written exam will be held to select the most deserving students for an internship abroad at internationally operating companies, identified through diplomatic and consular representatives of the Republic. This opportunity is a highly qualifying element of an educational program aimed at the younger generations, which is part of the country's internationalization efforts, to which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pays particular attention. This program is designed to both support San Marino economic operators in their international expansion and encourage the establishment of foreign investors in San Marino, who will need the support of professionally qualified personnel equipped to face new challenges.
Furthermore, to test what has been learned in the classroom, the study program includes the writing of a group worksheet project workAn internationalization plan to be developed at selected San Marino companies. The diploma will be awarded exclusively subject to a minimum number of hours of attendance and the submission of project work.
The counseling service for students is also confirmed, in addition to the traditional outreach function, via the Course's Facebook page: a virtual platform capable of connecting students with a group of qualified professionals in the internationalization processes.
The Advanced Training Course requires a high school diploma, whether from San Marino or elsewhere, as a minimum requirement. The registration fee is €820.
The course will start on November 8, 2019 and will end on March 21, 2020; registrations, which are already active, must be made online on the website of the University of San Marino (www.unirsm.sm/corsointernazionale), and will remain open until October 8th.
