Pre-registration is now open for the third edition of the advanced training course in Internationalization Processes.

Over 120 hours of lessons taught by university professors, diplomats, and multinational company executives, combined with the opportunity to undertake training internships abroad. This is what the advanced training course in Internationalization Processes, organized in partnership by the University of the Republic of San Marino and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, offers for the third consecutive year. The program is open to graduates and non-graduates, and features a new feature: project work, an activity that will take students to a series of selected San Marino companies to develop an internationalization plan for a specific geographical area of the world. This is a tool for putting what they have learned in the classroom to the test and putting their skills to the test with a practical case study.

Presented today at Palazzo Begni by the University's Rector, Corrado Petrocelli, and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Nicola Renzi, the course receives new impetus while confirming its in-depth focus on topics such as international web marketing, data management, sales strategies, and related tax aspects. This is complemented by training experiences in companies located in countries such as Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanks to the work of its diplomatic and consular corps, with financial support from the Sammarinese Banking Association.

"One of our hallmarks is to avoid duplicating what other universities offer, and in this sense the course is decidedly original," Petrocelli comments. "Students have the opportunity to understand some of the mechanisms involved in starting a business abroad through case studies such as India, China, and Japan. Thanks to the internships, participants can experience firsthand what happens during these processes."

"Thanks to this initiative," Renzi explains, "internationalization is being studied from a theoretical and practical perspective. The skills provided," he continues, "can be repurposed in organizations such as the Development Agency and the One-Stop Shop."

The courses, coordinated by Scientific Director Massimo Ferdinandi, are scheduled from November 3rd to March 3rd, 2018, and include a final written exam that will select students who will be offered internships abroad. Diplomas will be awarded to students who attend at least 70% of the program and submit project work.
