Management Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction and Territorial Management: enrollments at the University of San Marino are underway

It is also possible to enroll in the admission tests for degree courses with a limited number of places

Enrollment is now open for the free-access degree courses of the University of the Republic of San Marino: Management Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction and Land Management, for which there are no admission tests, nor a maximum limit on the number of students.

In the 2023-24 Academic Year, continuity will thus be given to a series of courses that have recently involved students and teachers in prestigious initiatives together with San Marino, Italian and international partners, enhancing relationships with bodies, institutions, private companies and others, with a view to a positive impact for the territory and an increasingly wide range of possibilities for the professional careers of future graduates.

In the field of Management Engineering, which combines the three-year course with the master's degree, last May, for example, four students had the opportunity to present their own business project in Sarajevo, Bosnia - Herzegovina, during the Popri International Youth Business Model Competition, organized within the framework of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), in collaboration with San Marino Innovation, a reference in the republic for startups and beyond.

A few weeks earlier, three students had flown to the Canary Islands, Spain, to take part in a technological marathon in the name of sustainability thanks to a collaboration with the ASA Group, a Titan company specializing in metal packaging for the food and chemical sectors.

As regards Civil Engineering, which confirms both the three-year and the master's programmes, enrolled students were involved in field experiences which included analyzes and site visits in some of the areas most affected in May by the landslides due to the floods of Emilia - Romagna , also elaborating degree theses appreciated at an academic level and by local authorities: the most recent is represented by a project with 110 cum laude for a five-kilometer long cycle path in the Conca Valley, with the involvement of the Province of Rimini. Furthermore, a few weeks earlier, an analysis prepared by a student of the University of San Marino in California, in the laboratories of San Diego State University, after several months of experience abroad, had been discussed.

Also at an international level, Ingegneria Civile participated in scientific conferences such as Transcom 2023: in the Czech Republic, a researcher presented a system aimed at operators who deal with road maintenance designed to save time and financial resources, as well as employ enhanced green technologies, in parallel, from the program in Construction and Land Management, aimed at surveyors.

In addition to the free-access courses, the University of San Marino offers three degree courses with limited numbers. To apply for the next selection of the three-year course in Design there is time until 3 September, while for the master's program the deadline is set for 27 August, with the admission tests scheduled for 6 and 5 September respectively.

As far as Communication and Digital Media are concerned, from 10 to 30 August it will be possible to register for the interviews scheduled for 5 September.
