Three hundred people are expected on Mount Titano for the University of San Marino's international conference on school and specific learning disabilities.

Approximately 300 people are expected on San Marino for the international conference "Nessuno è somaro – una scuola che promo" (Nobody is a Donkey – a School that Promotes), scheduled for April 5th and 6th at the Kursaal del Titano conference center. The conference is organized by the University of the Republic of San Marino, together with the Italian Dyslexia Association and SOS Dyslexia, a service company that promotes, among other things, rehabilitation and educational activities for children with developmental dyslexia.

Among the scheduled speakers, academics, professionals, and representatives from the education world will offer a series of insights and workshops on inclusive teaching to support children with learning difficulties. Oscar Farinetti, founder of the international Italian grocery chain "Eataly," will speak for the first time about his son Andrea's dyslexia and his relationship with school.

Topics addressed also included the abolition of grammar in Italian, 'distracted' classes and their characteristics, and the need to rethink teaching and learning to address students' diverse cognitive needs.

The conference is coordinated by a scientific committee composed of Laura Gobbi, director of the Department of Human Sciences at the University of San Marino, and Giacomo Stella, one of the most highly regarded academics in the field and director of the Master's program in Specific Learning Disabilities at the University of San Marino, and founder and director of the Center for the Study and Applied Research on Dyslexia.
