Over 150 hours of lessons distributed until next May, to deal with issues such as the San Marino tax system, corporate crimes, methods of preparing a balance sheet, seizures and confiscation. This is the new edition of the San Marino Higher Education School for the Legal and Economic Professions organized by the University of the Republic of San Marino and opened last Friday with a lesson curated by Giovanni Guzzetta, manager of the Court of Titano, at the headquarters of the Former Court, in via Salita alla Rocca 44, historical centre. On Saturday, however, the lawyer Paolo Reffi offered an insight into the sources of Common Law.
Together with them, among the teachers who will take the chair during a training course developed until May 2020, are figures such as Gilberto Felici, judge at the European Court of Human Rights, and Nicola Muccioli, director of the Financial Information Agency. The programme, organized by the San Marino Legal Institute, includes a first general part and a second phase characterized by two distinct paths dedicated to the professionals involved: on the one hand, lawyers and notaries, on the other, chartered accountants. In addition to being a refresher opportunity for already active professionals, the program represents a method of preparation for the State exam for qualification to practice as a lawyer, notary and chartered accountant.
Last Friday the diplomas were awarded to the 13 members who attended the previous edition of the programme.
