The University of the Republic of San Marino announces the launch of a call for proposals, open to businesses and foundations, to support the eighteenth edition of the Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, taking place in Tirana and Durrës, Albania, from May 4th to 9th. This initiative offers the opportunity to promote your organization in various ways, including featuring your name and brand in Biennial information materials, participating in a meeting organized by the Tirana Chamber of Commerce to learn about the Albanian market, and developing partnerships with partner businesses from across the Mediterranean. It will also be possible to network with Biennial members from 21 countries and a pool of artists that includes graphic designers and other artists.
The initiative, taking place in Albania, will feature over 230 creatives from over 20 countries, who will discuss themes such as migration, intercultural dialogue, mobility, and freedom of expression. In past editions, the Biennale has attracted a total of 10.000 artists and 700.000 visitors.
The call for proposals is part of the activities of the BJCEM association, an international network dedicated to art and culture, which includes, among others, the University of San Marino and the Cultural Institutes of San Marino. This international organization, based in Brussels, organizes an Art Biennale open to young artists every 24 months, each held in a different city in Europe and the Mediterranean. The call for proposals, called "We Support BJCEM," is managed by the Economic Evaluation of Projects and Products program of the Bachelor's Degree in Design at the University of San Marino.
The deadline for participation is February 15th.
