The initiative, which ended on June 26th, was offered together with the Polytechnic University of Marche
Seven professors from the University of the Republic of San Marino taught seventeen lectures as part of the Master's program in Family and Community Nursing, offered by the University of San Marino together with the Polytechnic University of Marche. The program concluded on Thursday, June 26, with a discussion of the participants' final papers and a certificate presentation ceremony.
The in-depth analysis covered topics such as bioethics, psychology, telemedicine, environment and lifestyles, public health, and health promotion planning.
Furthermore, there is a general focus on community care systems: "In a constantly evolving healthcare landscape," stated the Rector of the Marche academic institution, Gian Luca Gregori, "training professionals capable of operating effectively and in an integrated manner is a priority. Our commitment is aimed at developing new skills and enhancing the role of community nurses, a key figure in the healthcare of the future."
The Master's program's objectives include imparting skills that facilitate the creation of trusting relationships with individuals to manage strategies geared more toward prevention and health promotion; providing care that focuses on individuals' problems and needs, while also taking into account emotional and social ties; participating in research activities; and promoting therapeutic family education.
