Advanced Training Course in Internationalization Processes
The Secretariat of State for International Economic Cooperation has launched a high-level training course focused on a highly topical topic: internationalization processes. It is also essential for San Marino to develop specific skills to assist local entrepreneurs in their foreign investments and potential foreign investors interested in doing business in the region.
The University of San Marino, which will be responsible for the teaching part, and Asset Banca, which as sole sponsor will make a decisive contribution to the realization of internships abroad at companies operating in the international context, immediately responded favorably to the initiative.
The course, costing €800, starts on Friday, November 13th and will conclude on February 27th 2016, after 110 hours of classroom training.
On March 5, 2016, the exam will be held to assign the most deserving candidates to the internships, organized thanks to the generosity of members of the San Marino diplomatic and consular corps, some of whom are entrepreneurs themselves. Asset Banca's contribution will be used to finance travel expenses and a residual portion of accommodation expenses in more expensive locations.
The Advanced Training Course in "Internationalization Processes" was therefore born from the collaboration of four key players: politics, academia, business, and finance. Only through the synergistic work of all these stakeholders will it be possible to build a new future for our country.
The course is intended to be a sort of testing ground and if the response is positive, in the coming years it will be possible to follow a real Master's degree.
The concreteness with which the project was intended to be carried out is demonstrated by the preliminary survey conducted to gauge interest in the course among young San Marino residents and residents, which revealed a good number of potential interested parties.
Over the past year, the University of San Marino has expanded its internationalization efforts. It has a dedicated section, directed by Dr. Remo Massari, for which a scholarship was recently awarded to Dr. Elena D'Amelio, enabling the return of a San Marino professional after several years of work at Fordham University in New York.
Asset Banca warmly welcomed the initiative, as it is particularly sensitive to the issues of training and internationalization. There are signs of economic recovery, but being on the white list isn't enough. We need young people who can navigate a constantly and rapidly evolving world, including the banking and financial sector. Asset Banca has also expressed its willingness to hire some of the people who successfully complete the course.
Registration for the Advanced Training Course in Internationalization Processes can be done online through the University website. starting from Thursday 10th September and will close on 30th October 2015. There is a maximum number of 30 participants.
Further information is available on both the University website and the International Economic Cooperation website, in the training section.
