The Captains Regent visit the University of San Marino. The Rector: "This is motivation to continue on the path we've taken."

This morning, the University of the Republic of San Marino hosted a visit by Their Excellencies the Captains Regent, Matteo Fiorini and Enrico Carattoni, who were introduced to the University's main teaching and research activities. The San Marino Heads of State were welcomed to the Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara, currently occupied by the PhD program in Historical Sciences, the University Library, the Emigration Research Center, and the Design program. The Monastery, along with faculty and students, offered a series of insights through a significant selection of projects, including those exhibited in recent months in Milan during the Salone del Mobile.

"The interest shown by the Regency fills us with satisfaction and motivation to continue along the path that over the last three years has seen not only an increase in enrollment but also in the activities the University carries out in service of the local area and its community," explained Rector Corrado Petrocelli at the end of the visit. "This demonstrates the essential role the University plays within San Marino and beyond, thanks to its many consolidated international relationships. In this sense, the projects presented today to the Heads of State are among the most tangible demonstrations of our work."
