Carlo Verdone in San Marino for the University's Film Production Course: the date has been made official.

Carlo Verdone's lecture, part of the second edition of the advanced training course in Audiovisual and Film Production at the University of the Republic of San Marino, will be held on February 24, 2018. The date, recently announced, coincides with the extension of the registration deadline, which will close on October 18. There are still approximately two weeks to participate in a training program that offers participants a series of in-depth courses on topics such as directing, screenwriting, cinematography, and television filming techniques, led by renowned industry professionals.

In addition to the Italian actor and director, still involved in a career launched in 1980 by the film “Un sacco bello”, the teachers include Luca Miniero, director of films such as “Benvenuti al Sud” and “Un boss in salotto”, Gino Sgreva, director of photography for the films “Ferrari” and “Piccolo mondo antico”, and Till Neuburg, former founding partner of the production companies “Camera” and “The Shining”.

Combining classroom-based theory lessons with more practical training in the studios of San Marino RTV and the production company Cinephil, the course aims to train qualified professionals to work in television and film production, as well as providing ideal insights for professionals already working in the sector.

The initiative, under the scientific direction of Giovanna Cosenza, is organized by the Department of Human Sciences of the University of San Marino in collaboration with the San Marino RTV broadcaster and the film production company Cinephil San Marino.

Classes will take place over five weekends between November 2018 and March 2018. Further information can be found on the course page, accessible from the "course offering" section, at www.unirsm.sm.
