Citizenship and migration are the focus of research at the University of San Marino for the first phase of the winning project of the European Erasmus Plus call.

The processing of data relating to San Marino citizenship and the specifics of the laws currently in force on the subject, including limitations and benefits. These are some of the findings of the first phase of research involving the University of the Republic of San Marino as part of the project "Challenges to Democracy and Social Life in European Small States," which received a grant from Erasmus Plus, the European program for education, training, youth, and sport funded by the European Commission. Together with academics and experts from Malta, Andorra, Cyprus, Estonia, Iceland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, and Montenegro, the University of San Marino staff presented their analysis on April 5th in Malta during a meeting attended by all participating universities.

The results of this study will be illustrated during a public and free event scheduled Wednesday 8 May at 17 pm at the Emigrant Museum, in the historic center of Mount Titano. The curators of the analysis will be present: Arianna Serra, Luca Gorgolini, and Patrizia Di Luca.
As part of the project, the University of San Marino's International Relations Research Center is engaged in a series of in-depth studies that, in addition to migration and citizenship, will address issues such as economic development, digitalization of the public sector, and European integration in the coming phases.
