How is poverty measured? The answer in the next seminar of the Management Engineering degree course of the University of San Marino

What are the methods of measuring poverty in a given area? Are there alternatives to determine the “relative”, “absolute” and “extreme” poor? These are some of the questions at the center of the seminar "Counting the poor: how and why", which on Thursday 2 May will see Luigi Fabbris, professor at the University of Padua, in the context of a series of meetings that the University of Republic of San Marino organizes on the topics of social statistics and health management, currently at the center of the research activities of the Management Engineering degree course.

Appointment at 10 in the university headquarters of the World Trade Center of Dogana, in via Consiglio dei Sessanta 99, third floor, tower B. The meeting will be moderated by professors Alberto Franci and Pietro Renzi, curators of a cycle which on 10 April brought on Titan Rob Gandy of Liverpool John Moores University.
