Convocation of the Territorial Pact of the University of San Marino

Article 27 of the Framework Law on University Education (Law No. 67 of 25 April 2014) establishes a consultative body, called the Territorial Pact. This body aims to be a meeting point between the University of San Marino and the main players in the cultural, economic, professional, trade union, and association sectors of the region, with the aim of increasing opportunities for dialogue with the University.

In particular, Article 27 of the Framework Law on University Education entrusts the Territorial Pact with the following functions:

a) proactive: putting forward proposals for direction and development for the University;

b) consultative: providing opinions regarding the University's strategic and development plans;

c) communication: providing information to stakeholders, through representatives
of which it is composed, with regards to the programmes that the University intends to implement;

d) fundraising, usually limited to specific, fixed-term projects.

The Territorial Pact therefore offers an important institutional opportunity for dialogue between the University and a significant portion of the socio-economic community of the Republic of San Marino. It is an opportunity to engage in discussion regarding the effectiveness of the University of San Marino's work and the possibilities for coordinated development of the University within the region, as well as to identify financial resources to support the University's development projects.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 14, at 4:00 p.m. at the university building at Viale Antonio Onofri 87 (formerly the Post Office).

For organizational reasons, we kindly ask you to confirm your participation and provide the email contact details of the person in charge by Monday 5 September.
